I know that Michael Jackson's death is a major concern to many.

Amazon.com reports that the top 15 activities on it's site involve Michael Jackson. And the Twitter system went down twice due to Michael Jackson related messages.

But why are so many so interested?

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord and may perpetual light shine upon him. But beyond praying for him - what more interest should there be? In light of the problems we face in this country and around the world, people must spend less time thinking about celebrities and more on what the future holds. Because people can do something about the future but they can do nothing for poor Michaels but pray for him.
