Joe Biden?

I didn't write that Joe Biden is dishonest. I wrote that he lies a lot. He's a professional liberal*. They don't call it lying. They call it nuancing and spinning. We common, less elitist folk still know it as lying.

He was chosen as the Veep-in-waiting because he's older and more experienced than Obama. He was chosen because he has more foreign relations experience than Obama. He was chosen because he fills the role of the attack dog, spouting off statements which are sometimes, but rarely, true about the failings of the Bush administration. This allows Obama to stay on his message about the peace, love, vision, change, hope and 'we can do better' platitudinous crap.

*I know that my friends who happily claim the "liberal" label, who are common folk and less elitist, just like me, are not liars. They are surely wrong. But thats only because they decided to believe the professional liars.

Here's why I believe that the current version of the Democrat party has no qualifications to suggest anyone at all to be the next President.

All of them are nuts.

They have decided, that Obama is good on the "touchy-feely" and "platitudinous" stuff, but really bad on the pragmatic, leadership stuff.

So they recruit Joe Biden because he has the important stuff that Obama doesn't.

All of the idiot Democrats are nuts. If Joe is the key to victory, why didn't they choose him to be their presidential candidate??
